I have played in 1 successful band (between avenues s://./betweenavenuesmusic ) and had a few other projects that were not so successful. I Would like to start a christian rock band. I like the sound of a bare bones band. I prefer Just 1 or 2 Vocalist, Drums, Bassist, and guitarist. I could care less about your experience. I would rather have someone who is willing to put in the time and effort than a " professional" who is never at practice. I just moved back to Oklahoma from Utah and would love to jam. I love to cover songs and also like to write originals. I would like to be the next christian rock band to really melt some faces. I have always had a hard time listening to the christian music on the radio due to being to focused on the vocalist and would like to help others like me. I am aware that there is some good christian rockers out there but they are very hard to find. I am into modern hard rock, classic rock, I also like the space-age sound like angels and airwaves. I would like to put something together that somewhat sounds like Slash and Miles Kennedy but christian. I am willing to work with teenagers but you must be serious and willing to put in time at home as well as at practice.
