I miss playing with others. I can't decide if I want to play gigs or just jam once in a while. I may be interested in playing at charity events.
I started playing out in 2002 with a male vocalist and later on I had a very successful female acoustic trio (vocals/guitar/djembe). I also played guitar for an alternative band, during their acoustic gigs.
To explain the type of music I love, these are my favorite Sirius XM channels: The Coffee House, Alt Nation + Advanced Placement, and Spectrum. I enjoy pure acoustic sounds, I'm not that much into pedals. Some of my favorite male vocalists: Adam Duritz, Brent Smith, Noah Kahan, and Wesley Schultz. I admire many female voices, but some always come to mind: Pink, Florence Welch, Kina Grannis, Maggie Rogers, and Adele. I am interested in playing covers, I do not enjoy playing originals.
When trying to find a vocalist, I always look for natural singers, those who are able to learn a melody fairly quickly, they can sing anything, and they grab the audience's attention. Note: I work full time and music is a pastime.
