I'm Jeremy the Bass Player and I'm looking to bring the low-end to a new musical project. I play stand-up/double bass in Folk, Country, Blues, Traditional Roots, and Jazz groups. Musically, I love a wide variety of traditional music, folk, americana, country, classic jazz, and all the blues from deep bayou to modern rock inspired.

I'm also 40 years old with a ton of experience and hundreds of shows in venues from large theaters to corner bars. Been playing mostly in jams and pickup groups for the last year and now I'm trying to get involved with a new (preferably acoustic) project. I can also read charts and lead sheets, improvise, and have had a little music school. I've got a good attitude, night-and-weekend availability and I'm very easy to work with. I play both upright and electric and have both gear and transportation. Open to existing groups, jam/open mics, and rhythm section work for vocal/instrumentals.

My bassist influences are the likes of Ron Carter (Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock), Michael Rhodes (Reba, Dolly, Dixie Chicks), Willie Dixon (Muddy Waters), and of course James Jamerson (Motown Legend). It's OK if you've never heard of them - I have.
