I have been playing electric bass since I was 15 back in 1982. My first four years of playing seriously found me in a band that wrote lots of original rock and roll (50's and early 60's style) with four part vocal harmonies. I co-wrote, played bass and sang (tenor). We recorded an album but broke up before a planned European tour -- bummer! Following that band I was in a 12 piece R&B group that played out in suburban and small NYC venues. Some of those cats went on to do major things with major names. I finished college, got married and had kids. From 2007 until COVID I was in a wonderful Blues band. We played out a couple of times a month in Northern NJ before I moved to Hunterdon County. I am now looking forward to laying down some great grooves with a band that needs a serious, hard-working bassist. I have a day job with reasonable flexibility and run a small organic farm. I’d be down for a gig with a weekly practice and 1-2 gigs a month within 20-30 miles of Tewksbury, NJ.
