ABOUT

I'm a bass player who grew up in a musical family. I've been playing bass for twelve years, and before I picked up bass, I played guitar.

I am interested in being a part of a working band that plays professionally for money, with a focus on musical quality and consistency. I would not only like to establish a solid rhythm section with a percussionist but with the whole band; I also would like to create expressive harmony and melody with the entire band.

Bandmix only allows you to choose four preferred genres of music. I am of Caribbean heritage and as such, I love Latin, Calypso, and R&B, but I also am interested in playing popular music (anything danceable) and I do like rock and classic rock. (I am interested in playing jazz, but my skillset in that genre is lacking.)

I am open to playing cover songs if we can execute them well and get paid to do it. I am also open to playing in churches that need musicians for contemporary music.

Influences

Steve Harris from Iron Maiden got me into playing bass, but my musical influences are difficult to quantify. I try to take inspiration from everything I hear, including other instruments.
