ABOUT
I'm a drummer who is currently deployed to Kuwait until about mid November. I'm moving down to the Edwardsville-st Louis area when I return. I am currently a member of a side-project band out of the Vandalia IL area. I could possibly be looking for some jam partners around the St. Louis area if anyone is interested let me know. I am a Christian and I've played my fair share of Christian music. Alternative metal is my favorite right now. I've been listening to harder music as of late because I've been working out a lot over here. I just love to play music. It's my passion. I have a lot of room to grow as far as being a drummer, but my main attribute is keeping solid beats and tasteful fills. I have stuff recorded online if you would like to listen to them. Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Sick Puppies, Flyleaf, Avenged Sevenfold, Adelitas Way, Disturbed, Foo Fighters, Hillsong United, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Red, Taking Back Sunday, Tonic, Trapt, and Collective Soul have all influenced me one way or another.
EQUIPMENT
Right now I have a 4 piece PDP very quality kit. I play with 14" sabian aax hats, sabian AA dark 14" crash, zildjian a custom 16" crash, 18" crash, and a 20" ride. An 18" Wuhan china also. I play with Griffen hardware with one Gilbraltar stand. I plan on getting a medium quality double bass pedal before returning home. I also plan on getting some sort of monitor for my personal use. Not sure whether to go 12" or 15". Let me know if you have any questions! My kit is still a work in progress!!!
