I'm a 24 year old Black male native to Charlotte. Growing up music has always been my passion and source of comfort from an abusive household. My favorite band growing up was Green Day, but I also love different bands such as Nirvana, Sublime, RHCP, blink-182, The Strokes, The Smiths, The Pixies, Alice in Chains, The Doors, etc. I play the guitar and little bit of piano. I've always sung ever since I was a kid, however I would normally get told to shut up by my mother and beat for singing around the house, so I developed an insecurity around my voice and my musical gift.
I am currently a student at Central Piedmont community college studying music, however I am looking to transfer to either Johnson c Smith or Winston Salem state, most likely Johnson c smith, to take up music business and technology. It is my aspiration to overcome my insecurities and my anxieties towards my gift, and I hope to be able to be able to be in a space where it is able to be nurtured.
