I have been singing professionally in Arizona for over 10 years. I have fronted a few cover bands and more recently was involved in an acoustic duo (www.jimjen.com) which is no longer a working project. I play keyboards a bit, but don't want to be involved in a project that means me having to play more than sing.

Influences:

My influences range from Regina Spektor, Ben Folds/Ben Folds Five to Fiona Apple, Sheryl Crow, Jellyfish, The Beatles.... anything "power pop" with big harmonies.

Equipment List:

I own a few microphones but the one I use is a Shure-Beta58. I also own a keyboard/keyboard stand. Tambourine, chicken shakes and a DI box.
