ABOUT

I sing and play a piano bar style show at Blackboards on the Beach (North Beach, Corpus Christi) on Sunday nights.

I also perform as Christine McVie (keyboards and vocals) in a Corpus Christi-based Fleetwood Mac tribute band (Dreams -- A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac). We play at House of Rock, Brewster Street, and various festivals and venues throughout South Texas.

I play piano and sing backup in "Uptown Girl.. and Steve", a Billy Joel cover duo.


I love to play mostly advanced covers of classic rock and alternative songs on the piano, usually as background music for parties and events. You might have seen me playing at corporate parties, farmers markets, or at a wedding or engagement parties. I've done "piano karaoke" (the piano bar where guests sing to me playing keys instead of to a karaoke machine), which is super fun. I
I practice a LOT because I hate to be unprepared for rehearsal or a gig.
I'm not looking to be in another band, but I'm often down for small projects -duets, trios, quartets- and background or lounge music gigs. I also do live piano karaoke (karaoke requests backed by me on live piano) for parties, events, restaurants, and bars.

Influences

The Cure, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Alice in Chains, a lot of 80s and 90s music, I guess I should probably say Fleetwood Mac here too! ;-) I love Billy Joel and Elton John, of course...
