I love to perform. And not just perform, but have the people in my audience feel like not only are they watching the show, but that they are -part- of the show, that somehow they are helping me give them what they want, which in all reality is the truth, right? If it were not for fans and the audience, we would have nobody to give our gift to. Because if we have a gift, shouldn't we be giving it away?

Influences:

It's difficult to find only a few influences in my musical career. Growing up I listened to a lot of older country - Conway Twitty, Hank Williams Sr., Waylon Jennings; in high school I was in band and was influenced by the compositions of Mahler, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, and the ever-present Sousa. Today my musical tastes, and collection, range from the early 1920's flapper collections, the 1940's blues and big bands as run by Henry Mancini and the Andrews Sisters, to the 50's with Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis, to the 60's and the Beatles, the 70's with the psychadelic funk and disco, the 80's rebel rock with Madonna, John Denver, The Boss; the 90's with the onslaught of Rap, whether east or west coast, gangsta or cooldown, hip hop or R&B; to the music today, the canned bubblegum pop that the music industry wants us to hear but I personally cannot stand at times.
