Self taught, grew up playing piano until my mom sold it when I was 7, picked up my dad's guitar when I was 12 and been playing seriously ever since. My favorite type of music to listen to as well as play is old school funk, but I also love playing metal, bluegrass, the blues, and classic rock depending on the instrument. Until recently I didnt really listen to anything produced after I was born but I have been getting into stuff like Modest Mouse and Vampire Weekend and whatnot. I've always loved old school hip hop like Snoop, Dre, and their N.W.A., but I really could go without having ever heard Lil Wayne's terrible voice.
