ABOUT

Hi everyone. I turned 60 years old in November of 2023. I have a BA in Music, and an MA in Library and Information Science. I am a Librarian...... serving my community. While I consider myself an old soul, I still have a lot of years left to perform and I have a considerable amount of wisdom to share, not only in music, but in life. I have been a guitar, mandolin and Ukulele teacher in my community, for decades. I listen to modern you tube groups on YouTube like imy2, and Andi Case. I love Amanda Marshall, and Melanie Doane. I love taking old covers and modernizing them. Know though...... that my heart doesn't lie with just doing covers.... I don't want to spend the rest of my life in a box, playing other peoples music. I want to write ORIGINAL music....branch out, be relevant...do NEW things..... and take music to a higher level. Make a difference in life. - THAT is me. Once I commit to your band, know I will give my all. Most of my family is still waiting to see me do good things in music. I am Seeking people who have the same chemistry as me, Friends 1st.... and Music Second. Know, I come on band mix, as a musician 1st. I don't need to gig, to pay my bills. My purpose is from a very different musical driven perspective now. I scare people away, because I want to write Original. I have been at this, a very long time. Peace and Goodwill.
