I grew up around music and live performers. As a child I played sax and piano. As I got older I developed an interest in learning to play guitar, which lead to my current dedication to playing bass.

Influences
I like most everything that has a unique sound or a lot of feel to it. Not tied to any one genre of music or artist. Coming from a rock/heavy metal/hair music background I tend to enjoy acts like Motley Crue, Poison, Warrant, and Slaughter, yet I have an appreciation for many acts such as Hot Chocolate, Iggy Pop, Don Henley, Boston, Collective Soul, The Screaming Trees, The Jesus And Mary Chain, Seven Mary Three, and others. As a bassist, my favorite player of all time is Duck Dunn; he knew how to keep it simple and cool while providing the groove that was needed. You can get me at mckeejerryj at geeml dot com.
