Moving back to Chicagoland this summer! I have been in a popular 80s cover band in Chicago (Jessie’s Girl Chicago) playing everything from pop to hair metal and in between for the past year, 1-2 shows a week. I am also in an original recording project in Chicago as well (alt country/rock feel). For me it’s all about creating a pocket and space to support the leads, adding some flavor here and there, but only if it supports the song. Like being creative with original or improvised stuff, and able to contribute to backup vocals, songwriting and lyrics as well on original stuff. Also just as happy jamming in various covers of rock, pop, alternative, punk, blues, alt country, harder blues based rock, classic and southern rock. Also can play funk/slap when the situation calls for it.

EQUIPMENT
2021 Fender Precision Bass w Maple Neck; 2015 Fender American Standard J bass with rosewood neck and Custom shop 60s pickups, a Kramer bass from the 70’s with an aluminum neck that is pretty cool to look at but pretty impractical. Littlemark II 500w amp with 2 Mark Bass 102p travelers (combined making a 410 for larger venues), with DI capability into the main monitors.
