New to Frederick and looking for local people to make friends and jam. I’ve played in a few rock cover bands over the years with plenty of experience in playing with a band, live, and everything that goes with it. Mostly a rhythm player as I just don’t have the chops to melt faces. That said, I think any of my previous band mates would describe me as a solid dependable guitar player.
I haven’t played much in the past few years and have the itch to get back into it. This time around, I’d really like to focus more on a metal style that I enjoy. I’m looking for an old school sound (Black Sabbath) but with a modern edge (High on Fire). Something with groove and drive. I’m not opposed to covers but would like to work on originals too.

Influences
While I've always been a metal guy I have a love for many different artists and music styles. These can range from Tears for Fears to Iron Butterfly. Probably the most influential bands for me are Iron Maiden, Judas Preist, Rammstein, and Metallica.
