ABOUT

Aye! My name is Joel Forsgren and I am a guitar/lead guitar/bass player as well as a singer/songwriter! Not a paid account (because the price is pretty damn expensive)so look me up on social media if you would like to chat. I am 39. Though I am definitely game to do some covers, originality is where my hearts at so I’m kinda looking for like minded folks who are interested in writing/collaborating/creating. Definitely down to do covers but only like 25% of material.I mean, I’m pretty flexible but these are just up-front for the sake of posterity.

I’m somewhat new to the scene (Bellingham) and looking to jump in. Preferably I would love to create from the ground up but am definitely not opposed to join up with a project if there is solid chemistry and am given some creative freedom. My forte’ so to speak is improv but I also love song building! I have my own guitar and amp strong enough to hold up to most venues w/o DI and solid with DI/mic. I do have a bass guitar but now amp though I am not opposed to getting one in the right circumstances. Feel free to look me up on social media. I have a ton of live vids.

Style wise I’m very eclectic but I tend lean towards 90ish rock vibes/jazz funk rock fusions/punk/reggae/ska/folk/prog rock (you’ll understand if you listen to the songs lol I’m a little bit all over the place????)

As I said, I play a lot of different styles but here are 4 examples (following this text) of what you can kinda expect (all different bands).. All of the stuff I’ve downloaded directly is all stuff that I’ve composed/played/engineered myself.. So that being said I’m actually getting some game when it comes to audio engineering as well.
