I'm a pro guitarist and sound engineer. I have just moved to Vegas due to a great employment opportunity for my spouse. I most recently was in a touring rock cover act covering the central Midwest. We covered every type of rock....Cold Play to Rage against the machine to Greenday to Led Zep..... we played a lot of 80's..big hair and alternative plus we would play unplugged if the occasion called for it.
I am a versatile player and strive to make sure my tones match the original tune. I sing lead and back up...I like to sing the high harmonies as I sometimes have trouble finding the lower ones.
I am 40 but PLEASE believe I do not look anywhere near it...My head is shaved, I wear 6 ear rings and I am fit....I'm also an accomplished live and studio engineer....I have been doing all this my entire life and have always made my living at it.
I'm pretty normal and easygoing but very passionate about the music. I am considered a "feel" player not a shredder....I pick what I play carefully to make sure it is within my ability to make it sound good.....nothing is worse than the guy who plays stuff he (or she) really shouldn't be playing, know what I mean?
The last band I was in had a catalog of over 150 songs and we played 5-6 nights a week.
I have player well over 3000 shows in my career so I'm familiar with the stage.
Seeing as I just arrived here I am totally open so I can practice or play out anytime.
I live on the south side of town....
I am renting a rehearsal space to start rehearsing and auditioning band members to put together a pop rock cover band that plays smart choices and plays them well.
