My name is John Luke. Most people call me Luke. I'm 22. I am first and foremost a songwriter. Picked up a guitar 5 and a halfish years ago when I was sixteen and have been writing and playing ever since.I love me some hard rock, but I also really appreciate a soft and tender song as well. I love the psychedelic sounds of a guitar that has been saturated with effects. I am primarily a rhythm guitar player, but I can write some catchy leads as well. Getting better at guitar is my focus right now. Wanna learn drums, too. I am very interested in recording and recording equipment. My goal is to be self produced. I'm getting a degree in media production. I work backstage at MSU's Juanita Hammons hall for the performing arts, so I get to be around live sound a lot, too.
I'm a pretty chill dude. I'm cool with people smoking, but I've tried it several times but I still prefer my spirits. I don't like pretentious and arrogant people. Right now I've been jamming with a lot of different folks. It's way too much like dating. Damn right? The only thing I've been able to get going right now is a mellow acoustic project. What I really wanna do is make an electric project. Blow out an eardrum or two, ya know? I like parties and good food. Exercise is cool too. Unless it's jazzercise. totally uncool.
