Been playing guitar for more than just five (5) years, but listed five to demonstrate a more accurate picture...
I have sung quite a bit, in various cultural & ethnic styles & genre, primarily that of church-group settings. Therein i have played guitar some of the time also. I am fluent in Spanish and have sung with Hispanic churches somewhat also. I am somewhat proficient in Hebrew, French, Russian-Ukrainian, and, of course English. I possess some formal training in singing (school, University, and church) and have a wide ranged voice potential.., bass, but mainly sing in tenor. I took music in third grade also, where i began learning to read music, and played the recorder.
I can read sheet music, albeit slowly, and took two quarters of classical guitar in at San Diego Mesa college, where i took two additional classes, one in Beginning Music Theory (Beginner's Level), and the other in Voice (singing).
A Messianic Jewish believer and interested in uniting with people (brethren) of like pursuit and highly motivated to join in worship(ping) & praise(ing) The Master in singing, instrument, and dance--in One Accord.., b?-Yakhad (together).
Looking for brethren of like-mindedness, who love The Master (HaSHem) and want to serve Him in worship, with thanks and praise...
I have a BA in linguistics and most capable of learning and so singing in any language some may be interested for singing in. IA also took a semester of Arabic and do speak a limited amount of a smattering of other languages.
