ABOUT

I am looking for serious musicians that have the maturity, integrity and skill to play in a band with me. As a guitar player I’m on the same level as you would expect from someone like Stevie Ray Vaughan or Philip Sayce. I’ve worked with a lot of top musicians over the years including but not limited to, Nile Rogers, Jeff Beck, Johnny winter, Richie Havens, and many other great players, too many to mention. I have literally 193 songs that I consider hit tunes tunes. They range from country rock to slow blues to pop rock and pop in general. I work with logic pro x and I work with final cut pro X I have a whole movie company with all the equipment to do full length feature films, and obviously videos. I was away for quite a number of years and I’ve been home since November of last year so I’m just getting a lot of my equipment out of the pelican cases.
I am 60 years old and I am told that I look very good for my age, I only say this because I know it matters to some people but it really doesn’t matter to me what you look like and where you’re from. I don’t look at what a person has I look at who that person is.

Influences

I have many influences but specifically I started playing guitar in 1969 with Jimmy Hendrix was still alive. I was very influenced by Jeff back before I met him . I jammed down on York Avenue with Johnny Winter for about a whole year ,I learned quite a number of Great Southern licks from him, but I have also been influenced by people like Steve Vai and Joe Satriani and John McLaughlin. I was also quite influence by Jean-Luc Ponty.
Lately I’ve taken a Liking too young man named Philip Sayce. We play very much alike.

EQUIPMENT

I have I am a computer MacBook Pro logic pro X, Final cut pro X, I do not have any large amps, I have an Ibanez tube amp kind of small and some really small Vox amps. I usually just get my guitar sounds through Logic, but obviously a good tube amp would be something I would get if needed for any live gig/ show.
