I’ve been playing guitar since age 9 but have never been in band. Never had the confidence or the right people around me. This year I lost everything. My home, my wife, my job and I had to start all over again. At almost 50 years old I don’t wanna die wondering what if. It’s time I finally do something. I’m a pretty good acoustic rhythm guitarist, a fast learner with a good ear. Never been much of a lead player. Have a descent voice. Used to host karaoke back in the day. I have some original music but I’m not a lyricist. Would be happy to just find people to jam with or even just start a cover band with playing dive bars or open mic nights or whatever I just want to play with other people my age who have similar musical interests make friends and whatever happens happens. Would really like to do something acoustic but I do have an electric guitar and a descent pedal board but need better amplification so electric and acoustic would be cool too but remember I’m a rhythm player and really want to play with people around my own age.
