Joy Reigns Lutheran Church (ELCA) is a diverse, energetic church in Edgewater, Maryland currently worshipping in a contemporary praise style.
This church would like to add a traditional, liturgical Lutheran service and is seeking to hire a part-time musician to assist in developing and leading worship in our newly acquired chapel. Duties will include: developing liturgical service, supporting the current praise team director and praise team as needed, equipping others to develop musical groups (children's choir, instrumental groups, etc.) and share musical talents.
Requirements: Trained in piano and keyboard, understanding of and willingness to embrace both traditional and contemporary worship, ability to work with a diverse, inclusive congregation.
