I am a serious player that has been playing a variety of guitars and styles and singing for very long time. I like a variety of styles but I mostly like stuff that is organic (blend of acoustic and electric) and has a groove. Think The Band. Drummers who can lay low and/or crank it up when required are great. I'd fall in love with a good harp player. I like some bottleneck and open tunings in the mix like the Keith Richards in his prime.
