I have been playing off and on for years now, just never got lucky enough to end up in a good band that could actually stay together. I record my own originals at home (16 track digital) and really feel the itch to make one more run at joining a band to play covers and slide in some originals when possible. I was playing bass for a local all original band named "PHI" that was up for some Review Magazine awards but got tired of all the travel for little or nothing in the way of pay. Not to say that money is all important, but I don't intend too play for free anywhere.
