Have many years doing country/western, bluegrass, Christian contemporary, Gospel, rock, pop, blues, R&B, funk, jazz and some other genre as I like almost all forms. The Music Genre only allowed 3! Committed musician to the art. I've been in many bands over the years going back to the 70's doing everything from Country & Western to Rock & Roll. Spent about 2 years as a session bassist working with many regional entertainers out in Southern California doing promotional records.

Bob Babbett and James Jamerson of Funk Brothers fame probably the biggest influence on my bass but not to be short in influence is Paul McCartney, Sting, John Paul Jones (Led Zepplin), and a few others.
My keyboarding/Synthesizer from the original in this; Emerson Lake and Palmer. The song; From The Beginning did it.
My first bass (bought and paid for!); a 1974 Fender Precision sunburst orange. My first synth, Memory Moog, followed by a Yamaha DX-7 and a a Juno 6.

Peavey 400w amp head and 3-driver cab, 25w Fender Rad amp, Boss modeling board, Akai MX-73 Midi Master controller keyboard, two Yamaha MU tone generators, Williams digital piano, Roland 61 key synth, 1 Gigasampler machine, Bahringer 8 ch mixer, Spirit 16 ch mixer, Alesis reference monitors, RA-100 amp, Crest VS-900 amp, Art SC2, Presonus BlueMax, Alesis Nano-compressor, Alesis Midiverb 3, Midiverb 4, Two Condenser microphones, 4 hand mics (Shure, Roland and Audix), lots of cables, jack adapters, other paraphernalia. Some recording gear includes Yamaha MD-8 which plugs into a M-Audio 8 channel card in a desktop machine with Cooledit Pro, Cakewalk, MOTU and other software. Way too much stuff.
