I write songs and would be excited to find a band to bring them to life. I just try to write songs that people can relate to and sing along to. I really don't care about being cool or indie.
I've been playing, singing, and writing songs for a long time. I was the singer/songwriter for a pop-punk/alternative band in high school. In college I mostly just played acoustic and wrote songs. I played open mics pretty regularly throughout college and after.
