Hi – I have played drums my whole life, 11 years with a local cover band, “dead letters” from 1989 to 2000. I’ve been itching to get back out there and do SOMETHING musical again. Although I would surely get behind the drums again with the right group of people and songs, I’ve also been self-teaching myself guitar and am pretty proficient at singing (can hold my own) and strumming chords. Based on this I’d also be interested in forming a duo for happy hours and the like with someone who can also sing a bit and plays bass, guitar or keyboards. I feel any musical abilities I’ve been given are being wasted, and I’d also love to have some fun and make a few bucks. I don’t take myself too seriously and am looking for the same in others . -Jim
