ABOUT

Hey guys, my name is Justin. I've been playing guitar since freshman year of high school. I'm currently looking for a drummer for a pop-punk band based out of Gainesville.

A few friends and I have been at this project for a while, and have had a huge difficulty finding a drummer. We've got a good bit of music written instrumentally and are just looking for that person to fill the gap. We're all 28-33, but we'll work with anyone male or female from 20 to well up into their 30s. Age isn't important, music is. We try to make our music a blend of older and newer pop-punk. We all have metal backgrounds, and although we aren't playing metal by any means, we try to bring in some unique things not usually seen in pop-punk, like weird chord voicings or unique song structure, all the while not forcing it, but making sure its still a smooth fit. We have mics and a PA; not the best, but it gets the job done. So if you have your own then great, but no worries otherwise. Between the 4 of us, we've probably got a good 400 shows or so under our belts. That said, stage experience is always good, but again, it's not mandatory. Only thing mandatory is not being a completely awful human being. (A little is awful is okay. Maybe necessary.)

We usually meet up Monday nights, but we can maybe negotiate that to Sundays or an occasional Saturday if need be. We're all adults (or so it has been explained to me) with full time jobs and families, so we fully understand life is hard and will work with your schedule and life the best we can.
