In immediate need of a skilled guitarist willing to take on a Gilbert & Sullivan operetta with a modified score, with performances starting in Boston May 2. See below for detail.
Needed: skilled acoustic guitarist to join the band for an unusual upcoming production of Gilbert & Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance, scored for 10 performers and a guitar-bass-violin combo. Guitar part will be notated in chord symbols/rhythm; violin has majority of melody lines. Band will be more or less on the set so will be wearing pirate-era dress.
Looking to fill immediately -- rehearsals in April and performances in May.
