I grew up in Omaha. I graduated in May 2006 from UNL, majoring in marketing with a minor in music (vocal performance). I performed in college with the Scarlet and Cream Singers for four years, performed at a theme park in 2005, joined the McKenzie River Band singing rock/country music in 2006, and then went on to be a lead singer on a cruise ship in the Caribbean for a year! It was a blast but I am itching to sing again! I sing all types of music, but excel in country, blues, pop, modern and classic rock.
Influences:
Alanis Morisette, Patsy Cline, Jewel, Sarah McLachlan, Faith Hill, Eva Cassidy, Reba McEntire, Dixie Chicks...the list goes on and on!!:) Right now I am really into Missy Higgins, she is really a style I would enjoy singing.
