Hi, I played trumpet all through grades 5-12, in a community church band in the 2000's and also in my college's pep band. I started playing French horn in college. I would like to join a community band near Rutland/Killington VT. I stopped playing for 15 years but have been practicing since 2019 and am progressing nicely. I'd like to join either a church band or community band in the area. I'm also open to joining a gig band and will gladly audition.
I read music. I was never professionally trained or privately trained. I also play the piano at an elementary F level. I never did learn how to improvise but am still teachable. I know my scales but haven't memorized them.
