ABOUT

Update: I believe I’ve found my tribe, but I’ll be working on my own original music and crazy covers in my home studio on the side. I’ll add more to this profile as it comes about. As I learn how to use MIDI controllers and the nuances of home recording, I welcome the opportunity to collaborate with those who know more than I do… which at this point I’ve learned from you tube reviews and tutorials.

I'm a mid-40's singer in search of like-minded weekend warriors who have day jobs and do this for fun. I practice on my own 3-5 days a week, and I can easily make time to practice as a band up to 3 nights per week and perform Friday and/or Saturday nights on a weekly basis. My vocal range and tonal flexibility is impressive: I can sing Alice In Chains, Faith No More, The Pretty Reckless, and Pink without the need for key changes. I’m setting up a home studio, so soon I hope to have a few samples posted of what I can do.

I'd like to assemble a festival-friendly setlist of covers, add our own flavor, and write some originals as we find inspiration. For example, can you listen to hip hop or country and imagine a funky, crunchy rock-driven take on it? If you answer yes, we should talk.

EQUIPMENT

I have a few microphones, cables, the basics—I prefer to keep my gear list private.

I’m learning to use Ableton, and I hope to add keys to my instrumental ability soon. Currently I hunt and peck. ????
