ABOUT

hi! I’m Kristen Marie - I am a professional session cellist, wedding ceremony & special events musician, vocalist, songwriter, bassist, strings arranger, & music educator.

I am Midwest born, classically trained at Cleveland Institute of Music as a cellist & then steeped in the soulful music scene of central Ohio - honing my skills as a bassist, songwriter, & vocalist in bands for a decade before making California my home.

At 10, I stepped foot into a forest of redwood trees in the Bay Area & was misted by the ocean spray of the Pacific. I knew my soul had found its home, and that one day I would live in California.

As of 2020, I now reside in Northern California splitting time between Sacramento and the Bay Area.
