I've been playing for about 8 years. I don't have a specific genre that I play, but check out my influences. I have taken lessons twice before, both times for over a year. I practice for 2+ hours a day, have experience playing shows, and have solid timing. I can play double bass (check out As I Lay Dyings "94 hours") comfortably, blast beats, latin grooves (samba, clave, bossa nova, etc.), odd time, and I don't know what else to add. If you need something specific, ask me. The only thing I haven't studied yet is Jazz.
Danny Carey (Tool), Jordan Mancino (As I Lay Dying), Aaron Gillespie (Underoath), Zach Gibson (Black Dahlia Murder, Abigail Williams), Mark Castillo (Between The Buried and Me, Bury Your Dead), Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater, Liquid Tension Experiment), Tim Yeung (Vital Remains, Hate Eternal), and pretty much anyone that is better than me.
Tama Swingstar(set up as 4 piece), Tama Powercraft snare, Gibralter double pedal, 14" Zildjian A Custom Fast Crash, 16" Zildjian A Custom Projection Crash, 18" Zildjian A Custom Projection Crash. Its a beginner kit with good heads and an upgraded snare, and everything is perfectly tuned to sound deep and rich. I plan on getting a DW set soon.
