Experienced upright player.Played in bands in the D/FW area and Los Angeles for 30 years.I am interested in playing upscale restaraunts,bars,parties,events,weddings ,country clubs.Must have gigs on the calendar,Working bands only.I am interested in a f/t permanent situation,I will do sub work. play all styles,from calypso to jazz/rock fusion,to popular tunes of the last 60 years. Please no amatures,I am a professional.I have played in a handfull of bands, all of them professional working bands,I have traveled,not really interested in playing too far from home now.I've played 6-7 nights a week,i would be willing to play as little as 2-3 nights a month. EQUIPMENT
2 upright basses,a 3/4 and a 4/4.Both German carved instruments,my 4/4 I use in the studio and play arco, gets an incredible sound. my 3/4 is set up for jazz and I play it pizzacato for all of the above venuues and in the studio as well
