ABOUT

Solo capable singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist,
expert at mandolin family instruments (mandolin, tenor
guitar, some tenor banjo, giant mandolin) and also
harmonica (bluegrass, rock, blues, etc) Also a capable
acoustic guitarist, and play a little bit of fiddle (not my
strong suit) Can play a little on a few other instruments.

I prefer mostly acoustic music, but am comfortable
with more electric sounds, too. I like doing two part
harmonies and the spontaneity that smaller groups
provide, but the addition of a rhythm section also
works. As well as other band types, I'd especially
love to be in a group with other women who are
good instrumentalists and singer/songwriters, to
do an eclectic mix of original and creative cover

good transportation and equipment, a stable
home life, and no bad habits.

and renewable energy activist.

A wide variety of influences, from modern bluegrass
and Americana, through classic rock, pop, blues, country,
with a variety of ethnic musics, jazz, swing, classical, and
more (even ragtime and jug band), I enjoy jamming on
most kinds of music.
