30 years violin playing, originally began classically-trained in professional orchestras, ensembles and competitions. Later branched out to fiddle/folk/blues, performing with professional singers and bands in the Phoenix area for a little while. I do very well sight-reading, as well as playing by ear. I’m a quick learner, and can follow (if I’m backing up). I also do well taking the lead in a group when needed. Just depends on situation but I always adapt to my environment.
