Lauren Zoeller was born on April 10, 1988 in Louisville, Kentucky. Her passion for the arts began at the young age of six when she performed on stage as a dancer. Lauren's love for the stage led her to the Youth Performing Arts School (YPAS) in Louisville where she received a degree in dance and a minor in musical theater. Upon graduation from YPAS, Lauren attended the University of Illinois in Champaign - Urbana to pursue a degree in modern dance. It was while Lauren was a student at Illinois that she decided to change her direction to vocal performance. Lauren moved back to Louisville, Kentucky and enrolled in Bellarmine University where she began her vocal studies. Lauren recently graduated from Bellarmine University this summer with a degree in Vocal Performance and Jazz Studies.
While studying music at Bellarmine, Lauren has remained true to her desire to be an entertainer. Dance is still a important part of her life and she continues to perform regularly with several Modern Dance companies in the Louisville area. These companies include: Moving Collective, Jan Street Dance Theatre, and Contemporary Dance Louisville.
Recently she signed a contract in Nashville, Tennessee with the Tyler Music Group with Producer William Smith and Manager Michelle Robertson. Together they have released her first cd, Something to Say. Lauren continues to perform at various locations in the Louisville, Nashville and Los Angeles areas.
