ABOUT
Just started learning guitar in clawhammer style, transferring skills from banjo. The transfer seems to have provided a larger head start than expected as progress has come rapidly. I still have some time to go to become sufficiently proficient so right now I'm relegated to lurk and learn about the community to get an idea where I might apply the skills.
Currently interested in jamming, experimenting and guitar skill exchange. If you are looking for something different in your mix, clawhammer is a not-so-common guitar technique that simultaneously generates a bass line, rhythm, harmony, melody, groove and little percussion. It's a great technique in the toolbox for both the solo and rhythm guitarist.
