I am 32. I have been playing the bass guitar for 13 years now and have played and recorded music with different bands. I played around 100 gigs so far. For me playing gigs is the priority. So I am not looking for a studio-only project. I am looking for a band that rehearses about once a week and wants to play gigs (one to four per month would be great).

Concerning music styles I am very flexible. I have played in metal-, rock-, folk-, pop- and folk-bands. Generally I am looking for something considered to be rock, metal or folk (including all their subgenres). As long as there is a guitar somewhere I am good. I am not into really extreme types of metal (black metal or death metal e.g.), hip hop or christian music. I prefer original music over covers but I enjoy playing some cover tunes as well. And I would prefer joining an existing band instead of founding a new band.

I can do some simple backing vocals or shouts. I was told that me singing "Ace of Spades" sounds pretty good. ;-)
