Formed briefly in college by the songwriting team of Luke and Hollie Bellew, The Children of Desolation never realized any success before progress was put on hold while we started our family and endured band members moving away. Reformed recently with the talents of Trevor Smith (drums) and Doug Myers (bass), Luke and Hollie (sharing guitar and vocal duties) are composing songs that are frank, raw and yearning for meaning. Musically, they center on a solid rock sound, yet reach out in many different areas. With hints of Radiohead experimentation, Tool-like grooves, Cure textures and Pumpkins dynamics, the sound is far reaching.

In March 2008 our bassist had to leave us and we are now LOOKING FOR A NEW BASSIST to replace him.
