ABOUT

Non-binary vocalist/songwriter looking for other musicians to make music with, form a band with and/or collaborate with. I like to genrebend and experiment with different genres with a great leaning towards rock, to get an idea just look my influences.

I'm Mael Morningstvr, I'm 27 and I write my own songs, and currently work within a studio with an audio engineer that makes beats for me around my vocals. I prefer the live music sound of a band, and I would love to get together a lead guitarist and/or a drummer to create whatever sounds come to their mind for the songs with creative, innovative freedom, that, or come together and make new songs. Open to all genders.

If I form or join a band and they don't like material I'm open-minded to writing in the form of a new style or co-writing with another member, or singing their songs as a band, and still continuing to do my own original work on the side.

I have availability on most afternoons, nights, and weekends. I would love to start doing gigs (obviously with band practice and connection first), open and commited to touring as well. Most of my singing and songwriting is intermediate and I'm in the beginning stages of learning how to play electric guitar.

In terms of what I sound like I have first mastered single dropping April 1st which is also the file I have attached below and a bunch of dry vocal demos on my and under mael_morningstvr. I'm working on some new stuff and bouncing between different genres such as modern alternative rock, indie rock, glam rock, alt/indie, new wave, british indie, pop punk, progressive metal, post-grunge, punk metal, 80s classic rock, dark alternative, and 50s rock & roll.
