I grew up in the Flint Mi music scene and have been playing punk, metal, and hardcore since the mid nineties. I've mainly played bass, but I play decent rhythm guitar as well. I have some solo stuff posted on and reverb nation that I did at home by myself under the name "My name is a killing word". I'm not dead set on using those tracks for anything but they give an idea of where I'm coming from. I'm really into the post-metal style, but it's hard to pull off by yourself.
I'm not in a hurry to just jump into the first opportunity that comes my way. I plan to look for something that feels right. I also have a singer who can scream and sing who I've been jamming with for years.

I'm a big fan of mixing extremely heavy downtuned music with clean sung vocals, and I've always been a sucker for female fronted groups like Aghora, The Gathering, Lacuna Coil etc. and I would love to hear an Isis or Cult of Luna-esque group with female vocals
