I'm a self taught musician who mainly plays guitar and writes music. I have been playing most my life. I have played with bands in the past but have been solo for a long time and miss playing with people. Mostly interested in playing original music by myself or others and collaborating. I cannot read sheet music and learn by ear very quickly.

Influences
I like many generas from any era and love to play everything but love loud/soft style ie pixies, smashing pumpkins and grew up listening to skate punk bands of the 90s as well as grunge. My favorite band is Deerhoof. Typically anything from fast/loud and distorted to clean, soft, and pretty. I am a fan of a good fuzz sound.

Currently a basic setup but slowly upgrading
Electric guitar (Jaguar)and acoustic
Half stack amp (though looking at smaller options right now)
Distortion and reverb pedals (getting new distortion and fuzz)
No longer own a bass but would be willing to get one in the right circumstance
