Been playing electric guitar for about 8 years, in bands for most of that time ranging from classic cover bands to some more out there, experimental stuff. I'm really into dialing in interesting sounds that go beyond basic distortion, delay, etc., and I try to incorporate that into my music with sampling and mixing electronic and instrument-based music.
I'm interested in making generally unique or "progressive" music regardless of it's genre, so any unique application of your respective instrument or desire to get a bit weird is welcome. Not necessarily looking to form a band, just want to work with other musicians interested in the same vein of music as I am, other guitarists included. I'd also be interested in joining a pre existing band on guitar or bass if we seem to mesh well.
