We're a group of musicians in Columbia SC who enjoy roots rock with a little soul and country thrown in. Everybody has a day job; we just like to get together and jam every week or two. We could use another guitarist and would especially enjoy adding in a fiddle, mandolin, cello or viola. An easy-going male or female would fit in nicely.
A second option for me would be to join a group that does roots rock, older rock or soul, etc. A tribute band would be a possibility if it were somebody cool like TP. I play a simple, solid base line and would be glad to play that role in an existing band. Do a little singing and rhythm guitar also.

I have a couple of electric bases and amps, including one that can pretty well be heard anywhere that would contribute to an existing band.
If anyone is interested in jamming with our current group, we have a music room with practice amps you could plug any string instrument into. Also a drum set. We'd appreciate a light-handed drummer.
