LOOKING FOR CREATIVE METAL/HARD ROCKERS WITH AMBITION!!
Based in Austin, Texas, a Lead Guitarist originally from Chicago with over 25 year’s experience. I am presently looking for BASS, DRUMS and VOCALS, or to join an already formed and dedicated team looking to create an ORIGINAL METAL ACT, not just another "Austin band". I like to create songs in alternate tunings; a full step dropped/dropped "C", dropped "B", dropped "B"/dropped "A".
Friends say my style is ZAKK WYLDE/GARY HOEY/HENDRIX. I'm told my songs are a Dark Melodic Metal kinda mojo; wicked, some melodic, others more epic sounding. NOT your typical boring "cookie cutter", "all songs sound the same".
I'm looking for musicians who work well in a collaborative, fun, NO drama, team effort atmosphere. I'm NOT necessarily interested in doing any covers, with the ONLY possible exception being a re-mix of something obscure or forgotten into a heavier format as a fun, marketing promo, or possibly songs from unknown indie artists on MySpace to support public awareness of each other. I can tap into creativity at will and I’ve too many ideas in my head to waste my time on re-hashing corporate label artists songs. I’d like to polish our act in Austin locally and then hit the tour circuit with a pro attitude. I'd like to eventually tour internationally, this is not impossible; it only requires a dream, a team and action!

Equipment List:

Most recent; Triple XXX into a Marshall 300W cab. Running a rackmount wireless, a G-Major processor(in the loop) and a rack tuner. My rig is clean, quiet and professional sounding live, in the studio and at stage volume. Studio techs have commented on my tone and that my style is unique!
