I’ve been playing drums since I was 11, but with a big break through my 20s. I’m looking for another musician or two to possibly create original material virtually at first and then in person post covid. I mostly listen to death/extreme metal and most of its sub genres, but I think something along the lines of metalcore would be more within my skill set and also a little more fun to make and play for me. I’m definitely open to other stuff for sure. More technical Nu metal kind of stuff is fun to me too. Ideally just whatever would come from sharing bits and pieces of music back and forth.

Influences
Black Sabbath (my first favorite band ever), gojira, Lorna shore, Chelsea grin, suicide silence, darkest hour, as I lay dying (older stuff), the acacia strain, blood for blood, maylene and the sons of disaster, slipknot, Korn, cattle decapitation, rivers of nihil, etc. I can’t list everything that I listen to or that has influenced me in the past but that’s a decent idea.

EQUIPMENT
Pearl ELX-old and cheap but sounds ok. I have a few others I’m putting together as well. It’s fully mic-ed hooked to a focusrite Scarlett 18i20 and Logic Pro x.
