Seeking eager artists who seriously want a career in entertainment - "serious and disciplined (NO DRUGS, please)." Songwriters, instrumentalist, vocals who are interested in a "Disco Revue" touring venue project. Recordings will include original concepts as well as established compositions. Prerequisite - must love dance music, and live to boogie til you die. No arrogance, please. Clean, hard workers preferred.

Influences:

I am your boogie man, and I am in search of a solid family of musicians who love dance music. I have three years of practical Bass application: Classical, Jazz with basic music theory instruction. Played electric guitar off/on for 25 years. Interests/ Influences: Chic, KC and the Sunshine, Gap Band, SoS Band, Heatwave, Sister Sledge, Tramps, Wild Cherry, and many other old school disco boogy tunes.

Note that I don't list individual musicians nor idol any artists. I identify my influences more with composition and objective rather than style or technique; in other words, my view is that technical application may produce unique music concept (like improv in jazz), but the sophistication lacks one goal - getting the audience involved/ on the dance floor. If I had to choose one bassist to identify with, it would be Bernard Edward of Chic (critized for his lack of contribution to technical music innovation; yet all he wanted to do is create dance music). And that is what I am about: Dance, Dance, Dance.

Fully equip with all amplification, sound gear for bass section - including stands and mics.

I am readily prepared to produce contemporary scores and incorporate new concepts to develope new dance music.
