I have been playing trombone for the past 21 years and currently play semi-professionally in the Portland Metro area. I have played gigs ranging from bars to sporting events to the prelude for the symphony. I played Lead Trombone in the Green Garter Band at UO and played a lot of funk, rock, pop and ska covers. I wrote horn lines and played in a Folk-Rock-Ska-Punk band called Face For Radio. Currently I am playing in the Rose City Trombones, an auditioned classical trombone choir, the Oregon Symphonic Band, a Brass Choir, and The Loafers, a local rock cover band. I sub regularly in small ensembles and jazz bands.

I can play most styles and love anything with a horn section (funk, rock, ska, blues, jazz, etc.).
Excellent at sight reading.
Comfortable with improvisation depending on the genre.
